Children with Special Learning Needs

We try to include all children in our Christian Formation program, including children with mild to moderate special learning needs. Sometimes we may try to find an aide for one-on-one attention in the class. Other times a parent may be asked to assist.

We welcome parent input so we can create the best learning environment possible for a child with special learning needs. Most of the catechists (teachers) are volunteers with little or no background on working with special needs students, so communication among catechist, parents, and CF Office is very important.
