Reverse Collection

Through the Reverse Collection our parish collects items for organizations that serve the poor.  We do this as a parish in two ways. We do a monthly collection for a different organization. For the month of February we are doing a collection for The Men’s Overflow Homeless Shelter in Waukesha.

Now in its fourth year, and fostered through Hebron House, this shelter is in an old school building on the north side of Waukesha which has room to sleep 35 men.  The space provides warmth, a place to shower and a breakfast for these men who would otherwise be out in the cold overnight (a shivering thought!)

Their needs are basic:

Disposable razors
Shaving cream
Pocket size tissues
Hand wipes
And……….. personal size toiletries.

If you have been meaning to gather up all those toiletries you collected on vacation, now is the time to bring them.  Thank you!

Thank you so much for your
continued support!

Please place these items in the wicker baskets found in either lobby at St. William’s.

St. William's also does a large parish collection three times a year. In August we will collect school supplies, in December we will collect toys and in May we will collect baby items. These larger collections are sorted and delivered to several agencies in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties.
