The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments of our Catholic faith. Every sacrament is a special moment in our life with God and a deepening of our growth as God's people. God gives us His life (Baptism), shares His son with us (Eucharist), forgives us (Reconciliation), strengthens us (Anointing of the Sick), blesses our love (Marriage) and ordains us to a special role in the Church (Holy Orders).
The Sacrament of Confirmation is that moment when you, yourself, promise God that you will be a faithful member of His Church. It is the public event during which you say YES to a process, which begab at Baptism. Confirmation gives you the gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. These gifts help you remain faithful to your promise.

Our Confirmation program begins in the spring and runs for a full year. If you wish to find out more about our program please contact me.
The programming of Confirmation includes the catechetical elements of Community, Worship, Service, and Message. Through a variety of sessions we accomplish these goals and help the young people grow in their faith.
Service is key to our programming. The young people are asked to do 3-4 hours of service a month from May to May. We give many ideas for this service in our Confirmation Service Book, or they may contact the Youth Ministry office for additional assistance.
